Should I date my best friend?

My girlfriend recently broke up with me because my best friend likes me a lot. Well I went over to my best friends place and she was in the shower so her parents said to wait in her room with her friends. Well when she got out and came in her room, she was only in a towel, her friends walked out...talking the towel with them...shutting the door behind them. Well we've known each other long enough she didn't even bother to cover up, she just walked over to the bed and sat beside me, and we started talking and I told her about the break up and she said she was sorry for causing it and gave me a hug and then she asked me to spend the night. I spent the night and we were talking on her bed and she actually put something on not a lot just boxers and a bra. But we fell asleep on her bed talking, and when we woke up her friends had stolen her bra and rolled her on top of me, well we apparently had been kissing in our sleep..just kissing. And when we both woke up, we saw we'd been kissing and we kept kissing. And when she went to get up I gave her my shirt so she wouldn't be embarrassed to be walking around topless when her friends were videotaping her. So should I date her??? I'm thinking the signs point to yes but I need a second opinion
